(9/25) Save the Date! Picture day is coming!!!!

(9/25) PES is excited to announce these students as Peer Helpers. They are a group dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and standing beside their classmates throughout the school year. They were chosen because they demonstrated empathy, leadership, responsibility, and a genuine desire to make our school a better place. As peer helpers, they will be lending a listening ear, offer support, and help create a positive environment for all.

(9/18) Mrs. Alyssa and Ms. Reagan’s class took time to remember and honor the lives and heroes of September 11, 2001.Students listened to the story The Man in the Red Bandanna and learned about courage, kindness, and helping others in times of need. They then created these beautiful Twin Towers art pieces using oil pastels and construction paper. We are proud of the thoughtful way our students honored this important day in our nation’s history.

(9/18) A massive thank you to Behold Homes for their incredible generosity! 💛 They recently donated some fantastic new furniture to our classroom, creating a much cozier and more comfortable learning environment for our students. (9/18) PES would like to extend our deepest gratitude for Toyota for bringing donuts for ALL of our kindergarten classes! It was a nice surprise when they called to ask and our students loved the sweet treat! Thank you, Toyota.

(9/18) Ms. Dye's class enjoyed wearing hats on Friday.

(9/11) 1st grade has been studying nouns (people, places, and things.) They went downtown to see places around Pontotoc. They will create a Noun Town this week as part of the learning sequence using places, things, and people they saw.
