Our helpers for the Pledge of Allegiance this week are from Mrs. Ray's class. We also announce birthdays each morning and students come to the office and get a birthday pencil!

8/26/24 Mrs. Jill’s class worked on writing sentences with their Friday artwork about neighborhoods.

8/26/24 Miss Stephanie’s & Mrs. Ana’s class working on M&M Math

8/19/24 Mrs. Wallace's class practiced counting with m&m’s. Students sorted their m&m’s by color and then recorded how many were in each group. They enjoyed their tasty treat after they completed their work.

8/19/24 Friday Review! We had review centers today. Mrs. Shea reviewed grouping with M&Ms. Students discussed grouping M&Ms by color then discussed which group was bigger and smaller. At an independent center, students sorted coins according to their appearance, size and color. At Mrs. Ashley’s table, students raced to make 120. Students used counters and dice to race against each other to make it to 120. Students had to use basic addition to find their next place. After finding their place, students had to state the number they landed on.

8/19/24 Mrs. Heatherly's class has been discussing nouns. Each group created a poster with people, places, things and animals. Students discussed each one prior to drawing and labeling their picture.

8/19/24 Mrs. Jessie and Miss Shae's class were working hard this morning!
