3/4/24 First Grade Wax Museum was a high success!

2/26/24 Second graders enjoyed having special guest readers during Dr. Suess week!

2/26/24 Before trying green eggs and ham, students in Mrs. Heatherly and Miss Shae's room voted if they thought they would like them or not. We then tried them and they voted again. We also talked about which group was greater, those that liked the green eggs and ham or not.

2/26/24 Mrs. Parmer and Miss Abbie's class had two special readers: Mrs. Hillhouse and Ms. Jennifer! They also tried green eggs and ham!

2/26/24 Keyunte Jones, author of Yes, I Will Pass My Test, came to read to first graders. Students were encouraged to properly prepare for tests and have positive thoughts throughout.

2/26/24 Congratulations to all that participated in the Science Fair. The judges announced the winners! It was definitely a hard decision! 🏆

2/26/24 Mrs.Linda Windham read the book If you Give a Dog A Donut to Miss Stephanie's class and brought us donuts!

2/26/24 Friday, Gabby Bell, Miss Pontotoc Volunteer, stopped by PES to talk to our 1st graders about "The Beauty of Volunteerism". They enjoyed learning about the many ways to volunteer and about how giving is so much better than getting.

2/19/24. PCSD has two fundraisers to help purchase inclusive playgrounds for both PES and D.T. Cox Elementary Schools. Please reach out to Courtney Beard at 662-489-3336 for any questions. Order forms will go home with PES and D.T. Cox today and are available in the office for PMS, PJHS and PHS.
*A Google Form has been created for those in the community that wish to purchase a plate. This will help with the planning process to ensure enough food is ordered.
