Little warrior positive praise shout outs; congrats to these students!

Students are so excited when they get the opportunity to help with announcements in the am. Students are from second grade classes.

With all the cold temperatures, students have had to result in fun time with learning during indoor activities: power tower addition, pentomino calendar puzzles, Chromebook math games and visiting with friends. Mrs. Calvert’s class is looking forward to some warmer temperatures soon for playground time.

There is a popcorn fundraiser in full swing at PES going on! Get your POPCORN and treats while you can.

As a review for subtraction, Mrs. Peterson's class used Smarties!!!
They had a discussion as a class that the first number told us how many Smarties were needed to start with and the number after the minus sign told us how many Smarties to “take away” (or eat).

A HUGE thank you to Pontotoc Fire Department for helping open doors this week during the freezing temperatures!

Our very own, Tobi Bowen, received recognition for counselor of the year. Congrats, Mrs. Tobi!
