Mrs. Reeder's Class 2/05/24 A group of 2nd graders from Mrs. Reeder's class read the nonfiction book "The Game of Mancala" this week. Students constructed their own Mancala boards based on the instructions from the book and used dried beans as game pieces. Then, they got to teach their classmates how to play!

Mrs. Reeder's Second Grade Class 1/29/24 After a small group of students in Mrs. Reeder’s second grade class read nonfiction book “The Game of Mancala,” students created their own Mancala boards out of egg cartons. Students were able to paint them and use dried beans as game pieces to play Mancala after learning the rules from the book.
Mrs. Homan's Class 1/29/24 Mrs. Homan's class is 100 days smarter!! They did 100 exercises, wore 100 beads, made 100 day snack mix, and had other yummy 100 day snacks!!
