Second Grade Visits Tree Farm (12/11) Second grade students enjoyed a trip to Carnes' Tree Farm in Pontotoc after studying traditions around the world. Students learned about the growth of the evergreen trees, wreath making, and enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate afterwards.
Visits with Santa (12/11) Mrs. Lauren, Mrs. Katie, Mrs. Christy & Mrs. Kayla and Coach Hobson tooktheir students to Friendship Baptist Church to visit with Santa. He read them a story and gave them bells. We decorated cookies and made Christmas ornaments. Then they opened presents.
Attendance Awards (12/11) Students were entered for a drawing if they were here every day during our high attendance months of Oct. & Nov. Congratulations to these 2 students on winning the Big Prize!
Grinch Activities at PES (12/11) Mrs. Hutcheson’s class read, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas!”. After reading, students wrote about how they could make the Grinch grin and enjoyed some Grinch Juice!
Polar Express Auction (12/11 ) Come to the ⛄️ Polar Express 🚆 night on, Thurs. Dec 14th ,and bid on a classroom painting 🎨 during our silent auction. Look how creative and beautiful!
Mrs. Meghan's Music Classes (12/4) Awesome job by Mrs. Meghan and a few of the second grade classrooms: Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Homan, Mrs. Reeder, and Mrs. Pettit. Our music teacher is the best. She loves the students and her job!
