The beginning of school can be scary for some students. This is why it is important to build a class family. Mrs. Calvert’s second graders started doing this by answering questions about likes and dislikes to get to know and understand each other. Students had to stand in corners to represent their answers and discuss their favorites with each other. Just as a family has different personalities to make it beautiful, our class family has different personalities to make it beautiful too.
