After celebrating Dr. Seuss last week and reading “Ten Apples Up On Top”, Mrs. Calvert’s class decided to add a spin to the book. They illustrated “Ten Coins on Top” to help them with their learning of how to count coins. Once each student had their self portrait completed, they then had the task of finding the value of their classmates’ pictures. To end the lesson, the students found the highest value portrait and the lowest value portrait. Who says counting coins has to be boring?
