First grade students had a special visitor, Mr. Pig, from Piggly Wiggly. Students learned about informational text while reading, “Where Does Food Come From?”. They learned about where all food comes from, and how it makes it’s way to the grocery store. They were so excited to see Mr. Pig. Thank you to Mr. Glen for explaining to the first graders how food comes to our town. Pictured are Ms Jill’s first grade students.
