Second grade Gifted students recently completed a unit on animals. After brainstorming, they chose an animal. They researched that animal and created a Google Slide presentation. Then they were paired with someone in their class and they had to create a brand new animal. The students had to mesh the two animals creatively and intentionally. The pair also created a habitat for their new animal. The new animals were presented to the class.
